MPC Based Coordinated Active and Reactive Power Control Strategy of DFIG Wind Farm with Distributed ESSs

The ESS is considered as an effective tool for enhancing the flexibility and controllability of a wind farm, optimal control scheme farm with distributed ESSs vital to stable operation power generation. In this paper, coordinated active reactive strategy based on model predictive (MPC) proposed doubly fed induction generator (DFIG)-based (WF) energy storage systems (ESSs). coordinates output among DFIG turbines (WTs), grid-side converters (GSCs), inside WF, aim decrease fatigue loads WTs, make WT terminal voltage extent practicable, take WF economic into consideration. Moreover, best references stator GSC are produced independently their dynamics. At last, generates all SOC each converge average state. With ESSs, controller regulates WTs more flexibly. A composed 10 was utilized verify performance strategy.
